If you love the Midwest and pizza, this new Upper Arlington eatery might be the place for you.

Upper Arlington Pizza Club, a new concept created by the owners of Old Bag of Nails Pub, held its grand opening earlier this month.

The new eatery is located at 2102 Tremont Ctr., the same same address as the Old Bag of Nails Pub.

And while the pizzeria is technically brand new, according to Upper Arlington Pizza Club Supervisor Mimi Purdum, it’s been a long time coming.

“Over the last two years, we had select nights where customers at the Old Bag of Nails could test our pizza,” she said.

The new restaurant not only boasts an Upper Arlington theme—one of its booths is covered in Golden Bears, the mascot of Upper Arlington High School, and it employs all Upper Arlington residents—it also serves a Midwest style pizza as one of its flagship offerings, which fields inspiration from across the region.

Upper Arlington Pizza Club also serves a classic New York-style pizza. Both of the styles hail from family recipes, and their dough is made in-house daily.

Upper Arlington Pizza Club is open Thursday and Sunday, from 4:30-8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, from 4:30-9 p.m.
