Popular Ohio pizzeria opens in former home of Yohan Pizza

While Yohan Pizza is no more, another well-known Ohio-based pizzeria has taken over the space.

Ange’s Pizza, which has served the Columbus area for nearly 70 years, announced its plans to take over the Yohan Pizza space last month, and now Ange’s is officially open for business in its new home.

The new Ange’s Pizza is located at 515 Lazelle Rd. in Westerville.

Yohan Pizza ceased operations on May 26, and Ange’s opened for business on June 1. The Westerville storefront was the only Yohan Pizza location.

“We’re excited to be up in that area. The new location fits our growth pattern too,” said Tom Angeletti, Ange’s owner.

Ange’s now operates multiple locations in Columbus proper, in addition to pizzerias in Gahanna, Hilliard, Powell and the original Ange’s Pizza in Whitehall, which opened in 1953.
