Red Rabbit Ramen is back.

The popular ramen spot that began as a ghost kitchen before taking over a rotating kitchen space at Budd Dairy Food Hall is about to put down more permanent roots.

Red Rabbit Ramen is opening a traditional ramen cart that will be permanently located at Echo Spirits. The distillery is located at 985 W. 6th Ave. in Grandview.

The ramen spot will serve Echo Spirits guests from the cart—known as a yatai cart—every Thursday through Saturday. The cart will hold its grand opening on Sept. 15.

The eatery is owned and operated by Mike and Terry Ramsey. The couple discovered ramen in 2014 while living in New York City. They quickly fell in love with both eating and perfecting the creation of the dish, which led to the launch Red Rabbit Ramen.

The concept opened in the Columbus Food Hall on Essex Avenue, before closing to take a temporary spot at Budd Dairy Food Hall last fall. The yatai cart was created once their stint at Budd Dairy ended.
