Ramen restaurant taking over former home of Carfagna’s Kitchen

A local hotspot for Ramen is getting a new home in a location that’s likely familiar to many Columbus foodies.

Fukuryu Ramen will be opening a new restaurant inside the former home of Carfagna’s Kitchen, the standalone restaurant launched by the popular local grocery and meat market chain. Carfagna’s Kitchen closed before the brand opened a massive new location nearby combining both its marketplace and restaurant offerings.

The new Fukuryu Ramen storefront is located at 2027 Polaris Pkwy. It plans to open the roughly 2,000 square foot restaurant space in June.

Construction on the project is currently underway. You can check out a progress picture of the new eatery that Fukuryu posted to its Instagram account last week.

The restaurant will be the ramen concept’s fourth Columbus eatery, as it also boasts locations in Downtown Columbus, Upper Arlington, Dublin’s Bridge Park.
