Take a first look inside the new outer space-themed diner from the owners of The Crest

Tomorrow, The Mercury Diner will open to the public at 621 Parsons Ave. But today, you can be one of the first to take a look inside the unique new spot.

The new eatery, which is located in the former home of The Crest Gastropub, is serving up traditional diner fare with a modern twist, and it’s all happening in a setting that’s equal parts retro and space-age.

We stopped by the new eatery to grab a few photos; here’s what we saw.
