The Butcher & Grocer is bringing a fourth storefront to Central Ohio.

In a press release issued this afternoon, the hugely popular craft butcher shop and marketplace announced that it will be opening up a brand-new location in new Albany.

The new Butcher & Grocer will be located at 160 W. Main St. in New Albany. The new location is slated to open this fall.

“Since we first opened, I have always preached that we need butchers in every corner of Central Ohio, and we are seeing it happen,” said Butcher & Grocer owner Tony Tanner. “Dan Varga in Worthington, Bluescreek in Plain City, Saddleberk in Dublin – now we will cover Grandview, Shawnee Hills, Old Town East and soon, New Albany – it is very exciting to see the re-birth of the local butcher shop.”

The new location will also feature a restaurant with a full bar that will be attached to the new space. It will serve “meat focused sandwiches and other “butcheresque” food options like charcuterie boards and fresh oysters,” a press release reads.
