Johnstown’s Ghostwriter Public House has long been a beacon for Central Ohio foodies, offering top-tier cuisine in a truly unique setting.

For the next few weeks, however, the eatery will be closed.

Earlier today, Ghostwriter Public House, which is located at 4-½ S. Main St. in Johnstown, announced that it would be closing for two to three weeks to regroup.

“We have decided to hit the pause button at GW,” a statement posted to the eatery’s social media pages reads. “It’s been an amazing journey these past couple of years, not without it’s challenges, but we wouldn’t change a thing.”

According to Ghostwriter’s statement, the closure is effectively immediately.

The eatery didn’t announce an exact reopening date.

“After a tough but rewarding couple of years we are going to take a well deserved break from the grind and get back to our thoughtful roots and come back better than ever.”
