Former Resch’s employee opening new central Ohio bakery
When it comes to Columbus baking institutions, Resch’s Bakery on Livingston Avenue is at the top of the list. Resch’s is an old-school bakery that has been around for 100 years, loved by customers and employees alike. It’s safe to say that if you have worked for them, then you’re one of the best.
Kris Kuskowski, a former Resch’s employee of over 20 years, is now opening his own shop – KKP Bakery – in the Beulah Park neighborhood of Grove City at 3621 Southwest Blvd. And we can’t wait.
Kris, who is from The Berwick neighborhood on the east side of Columbus, was ready for an opportunity to open his own shop.

“After being with Resch’s for over 20 years, I felt like it was time to start a new business. It was best for my family, and I will get to see my kids grow up around the bakery,” said Kris.
KKP invited me over for a quick tour while the bakery is in the process of final inspections. When the bakery is open in the next couple of weeks, customers can expect a range of goodies, including donuts, muffins, cupcakes, danishes, cinnamon rolls, butterscotch pecan rolls (yum!), and bagels.
