Wendy’s announces new limited-edition holiday Frosty flavor

Less than six months after releasing a limited-time strawberry Frosty flavor this summer, the Dublin-based burger chain is bringing another new flavor to Frostys.

Beginning Nov. 15, Wendy’s will release a peppermint-flavored Frosty for the first time ever.

“The Peppermint Frosty is our latest flavor innovation on the iconic Wendy’s Frosty that fans have come to know and love for over 50 years,” said John Li, Wendy’s vice president of culinary innovation, in a press release.  “It’s the classic thick and creamy Frosty that our fans crave with bursts of fresh peppermint – every sweet bite will put you in the holiday spirit.”

The new peppermint flavor will replace Wendy’s strawberry Frosty, although this means that the vanilla Frosty will remain unavailable, as it was swapped out in favor of the strawberry version this summer.

The new seasonal treats will be available nation-wide throughout the holidays, although Wendy’s hasn’t put an exactly on when the new flavor will stop being offered.
