Wendy’s may finally be releasing this long-coveted dessert item

Wendy’s Strawberry Frosty. We’ve all wanted one. Especially when the tantalizing item was released for a limited run in Canada recently.

And now, it’s possible the Strawberry Frosty will be available to us here in Columbus next month.

According to an alleged company memo (the authenticity of which could not be confirmed by a Wendy’s spokesperson) that was recently leaked to the Wendy’s subreddit, the new frozen treat will be available in the United States beginning June 6. The memo also states Wendy’s will release a new seasonal summer salad.

“With warmer weather upon us, we’re excited to announce two new additions to our menu that lean into one of the hottest summertime flavors–strawberry! In June, we will bring back our fan-favorite Summer Strawberry Salad and introduce customers to a brand-new favorite, the Strawberry Frosty,” the memo reads.

According to the memo, the strawberry flavor would be offered for a limited time only. Wendy’s would also remove its vanilla Frosty while the Strawberry Frosty is available.

Need one now? At the Wendy’s Hamburger Stand (located inside the Heath, Ohio Walmart), Strawberry Frostys are always available. Serving as a test kitchen of sorts for the Dublin-based burger giant, Wendy’s Hamburger Stand is the only store offering them in the country currently.
