West Side seafood restaurant closing

Frank’s Fish and Seafood Carryout is calling it quits.

The West Side eatery posted a statement to its social media accounts earlier this month announcing that it will permanently close at the end of August.

“We are truly grateful and proud of the love and Support our “Family” have given us with our time at Frank’s,” the statement reads.

Frank’s Fish and Seafood Carryout is located at 5249 Trabue Rd. The restaurant is connected to Frank’s Fish and Seafood Market, located at 5251 Trabue Rd., which will remain open. 

The statement also noted that the owners of Frank’s Fish and Seafood Carryout operate another seafood-focused restaurant in Central Ohio called Papito’s Kitchen, which is located in Baltimore, Ohio. 

“Our other Location Papitos Kitchen, LLC ( Baltimore, Ohio) is open. We will be in Columbus in a different aspect,” the statement reads.
