Man shot during nightclub night out doesn’t realize until ride home

A 36 year-old Columbus man was shot during an evening out at local nightclubs, but he didn’t realize it had happened until he was on his way home.

According to Columbus Police, officers were called to Grant Medical Center just before 5 a.m. this morning due to a man suffering from a single gunshot wound to his left hip.

Police said that when the man was interviewed, he claimed he only remembered being out for the night at clubs on Karl Road.

It wasn’t until he was picked up to be driven home that the man realized he was shot, according to police. He was then taken to Grant Medical Center, and is expected to make a full recovery.
