One in critical condition after shooting outside of carryout restaurant
A woman is in critical condition following a shooting that took place outside of a carryout eatery on the city’s west side.
According to Columbus Police, officers were called to a local hospital following a walk-in shooting victim on the evening of Nov. 19.
Police spoke to a victim at the hospital who said he was with a woman at a carryout eatery on the 1100 block of Sullivant Avenue when a man began shooting through the back of their vehicle as they were driving away from the restaurant. The shooting took place just before 5 p.m. on Nov. 19.

The man was not injured in the incident, but the woman with him in the car was in critical condition.
According to court records, a 40 year-old Dublin resident named Thaer Arman was arrested on Nov. 19 in connection to the shooting. He is being charged with two counts of felonious assault, a second degree felony.
