A collision between two cars resulted in one of the vehicles striking the front of a Downtown restaurant.

According to Columbus Police, just after 3 a.m. this morning, two cars collided at the intersection of East Spring Street and North High Street.

After the crash, one of the vehicles then hit the front of Haveli Bistro, which is located at 185 N. High St., on the street’s west side.

One of the drivers was transported to the hospital, and the southbound lane of North High Street was temporarily closed. It has since reopened.

Haveli could not be reached for comment by the time this story was published. The extent of the damage to the restaurant, and whether or not the incident will require it temporarily close, is currently unclear. The restaurant is typically closed on Monday.
