Cattle loose on interstate after livestock truck overturns

Columbus Police spent a portion of last night wrangling cattle on the highway after a livestock truck crashed.

At approximately 8:15 p.m. yesterday evening, a truck hauling cattle overturned on the ramp connecting I-70 east to I-270 east.

The accident resulted in police wrangling more than two dozen cattle from the scene.

According to police, one animal escaped, but was later caught.

No injuries were reported in relation to the accident.
