Generator stolen from Columbus homeless shelter

Columbus Police are on the lookout for a pair of suspects who allegedly stole a generator from a Milo-Grogan homeless shelter.

According to Police, the generator was stolen at approximately midnight on Aug. 27 by two suspects.

Surveillance video shows the suspects hitching the generator to the back of their vehicle, a white pick-up truck.

“We hope someone recognizes these suspects, their pick-up truck or trailer,” a tweet from Columbus Police posted yesterday reads. The tweet also provided three photos of the suspects in the act of stealing the generator.

One of the suspects is wearing a red shirt and a black hat. The other suspect is mostly hidden from view in the provided photos.

If you have information about this incident, contact Det. Miles at 614-645-2090, or contact Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477.
