BJ’s Wholesale Club is (almost) back.

After closing a pair of Columbus-area locations in early 2002, the membership-based supermarket chain is opening a new, nearly 100,000 square foot store in New Albany.

The new BJ’s Wholesale Club is located at 5900 N. Hamilton Rd., with the Hamilton Quarter shopping area. It will hold its official grand opening on Nov. 4.

The new location will be Massachusetts-based company’s seventh Ohio storefront (and its 223rd club in the country), but the only one in central Ohio.

“Our team is excited to expand our footprint in the state of Ohio and bring a brand-new club to the Columbus area,” said Ron Hight, Club Manager of the New Albany BJ’s Wholesale Club in a press release. “We can’t wait to open our doors on Friday to all of our new members and bring BJ’s unbeatable value and incredible savings to our local families in this new market.”
