One dead following shooting outside of Milo-Grogan bar

One man has died following a shooting outside of a Milo-Grogan bar.

According to Columbus police, just before 10:30 p.m. yesterday evening, officers responded to the Avion Bar & Grill, located at 764 St. Clair Ave.

Tyreece Jefferson, 40, was found suffering from a gunshot wound at the scene and transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. He was pronounced dead at 10:41 p.m.

Police said that initial information indicates Jefferson was involved in an altercation which led to the shooting. The police are still investigating the homicide, and no arrests have been made at the time this story was published.
