LemonShark Poke & Makai Grill officially opened its Columbus location on Feb. 23, 2021. Yesterday, one year later to the day from its grand opening, the Easton eatery anounced it has closed its doors for good.

“As of today, LemonShark Poké & Makai Grill is closed. We want to thank Easton and Greater Columbus for welcoming us with open arms and showing us the true meaning of Ohana, family. ⁣It has been a pleasure to serve you,” a statement posted to the restaurant’s social media pages reads.

LemonShark was located at 3969 Merchant’s Row in the Easton area, next to Forbidden Root and Ivan’s Forty Deuce Cafe & Club.

The eatery focused on poke as well as a hibachi-style grill where diners were able to see their proteins cooked in front of them to fully customize their meal.

LemonShark, a national chain, operates more than a dozen restaurants across the United States, although the majority are located in Florida and California. The former Easton location was LemonShark’s only eatery in Ohio.
