Iconic Ohio pizzeria opening new Columbus-area location today

DiCarlo’s Pizza has officially returned to Hilliard.

After the DiCarlo family closed the DiCarlo’s pizzeria located at 4142 Main St. earlier this year, the storefront is back in action, starting today.

Mike and Sarah Carlson, franchisees of DiCarlo’s Westerville location, took over operations of the Hilliard restaurant early last month. After installing several new lights and signs and bringing in a few interior design elements from their Westerville store, the new location held its grand opening today.

“Sarah and I are very excited about this expansion of our family business! We are very grateful for the DiCarlo family in trusting us as a franchisee and allowing us to reopen Hilliard.  So many DiCarlo fans have come to love Hilliard over the years and we are thrilled to be reopening it,” Carlson told 614Now in October.

It’s likely that Columbus has even more DiCarlo’s pizza in its future as well. According to an interview with the DiCarlo family from this summer, the iconic pizzeria plans to add multiple new Columbus locations in the near future.
