Dave’s Hot Chicken is preparing to open two Columbus-area stores in the near future, and a third could be on the docket shortly as well.

Tomorrow evening, the Westerville Planning Commission will consider a final development plan and conditional use permit for the construction of a new Dave’s hot Chicken location.

If approved, the restaurant would be constructed on the south side of Polaris Parkway between Worthington Road and Olde Worthington Road, in the Westar Development Center.

The current plan states the restaurant would be 2,559 square feet and include a drive-thru window.

Dave’s Hot Chicken could be bringing more than a dozen restaurants to the Columbus area in the coming years, but the eatery currently has two official locations in the works. One will be located on the Ohio State University campus in the University Square development, located at the intersection of E. 15th Avenue and N. High Street. The other will be located at 3590 W. Dublin Granville Rd.
