An Ohio pet with one ear is a finalist to become the next Cadbury Easter Bunny
A bunny from Ohio could potentially become the next Cadbury bunny.
Bodhi, a 3-year-old Pepper Pike rabbit who goes by the nickname Bobo, was named of the 10 finalists in the Cadbury Bunny Tryouts. Now in its fifth year, the contest in 2023 is focused entirely on rescued pets.
Bodhi, according to his contestant entry, had a difficult upbringing before finding his new home.

“Bodhi, aka Bobo, is a 3-year-old Lionhead bunny from Ohio who steals the hearts of everyone he meets,” the contest entry reads. “Bodhi was rescued from a rehabilitation center, after he was not fed for a year, and someone cut off his ear. Bodhi’s favorite activities include eating bananas, taking naps, and making new friends.”
The public is now invited to vote on their favorite pet in this year’s contest. Bodhi is the only bunny among this year’s finalists, a pool which includes a dog, cat, chincilla, duck and more. Voting runs until March 14.
