Catch more than 125,000 “stars of the season” in full bloom at Franklin Park Conservatory

Jack McLaughlin

Until the end month, Franklin Park Conservatory is in full bloom. Literally.

The near east side attraction will be hosting Columbus Blooms, an event where the Conservatory’s best and brightest flowers are on full display featuring peak colors.

The event, which began on March 15, will last until April 30.

The Conservatory describes Columbus Blooms as yearly occurrence where

“More than 125,000 tulips, narcissus, pansies and other stars of the season will bloom in the botanical gardens and container displays. Throughout the Conservatory and Franklin Park, magnolias, lilacs, cherries, viburnum and thousands of perennials bring exciting bursts of scent and color after a long winter slumber.”

The event is open to all ages, and is free with general admission to the Franklin Park Conservatory.
