Dash & Splash: Leave your little ones at the pool and enjoy a kid-free Grandview Hop!
While us adults love the monthly Grandview Hop, sometimes the kids can only take so much of their parents’ perusing about, unless they’re bribed with a cone from Jeni’s or dessert from Lion’s Cub Cookies.
Luckily, Grandview Heights Municipal Pool has you covered. Kids can now have their own fun that doesn’t involve watching their mom pick out yet another locally made candle (there’s truly never enough, in my opinion).
“Drop your kiddo off for an evening of pizza, yard games, and swimming! We will have different activities set up for your little ones to run around, then will walk to Grandview Heights Municipal Pool to swim and splash. Inclement weather, no problem. We will have indoor activities planned for your little ones,” says their program’s page.
Staff will be in the water with the kids, and certain wristbands will be provided for “shallow water swimmers.”
Their next “Dash and Splash” event takes place Saturday, August 26th, from 5-9:30pm, starting at 1515 Goodale Blvd. Registration costs $45 for reserved tickets, and $55 for no reservations.
The allowed age range is 5-12 years old, which is a bummer, because this sounds incredibly fun for even adults!
Registration and details can be found here.
