More than four million display lights make this historic site a must-stop for the holidays

Jack McLaughlin

The historic Clifton Mill has been a holiday destination for more than three decades, and this year is no different.

The Mill’s annual holiday light display will return on Nov. 24. The Mill, which sits on a historic site that operates a restaurant and one of the largest water-powered grist mills that’s still operational, will open at 5 p.m. nightly. Lights will be on from 6-9 p.m. most days, except Dec. 24-25, when they will be on from 6-8 p.m.

Clifton Mill is located at 75 Water St. in Clifton, Ohio, just under an hour from Downtown Columbus.

Over four million holiday lights will illuminate the Mill, nearby gorge, trees and more. A 100-foot “waterfall” of twinkling lights will be featured this year as well.
