New Albany Little League makes it to final round before World Series!

A huge congratulations to the New Albany Little League, who have fought hard to win regional and state championships this year. They’re now competing in a crucial game for the chance in the World Series.

Their hard work has brought them to tonight’s battle against Illinois, which could potentially lead them to the Little League World Series 2023 if they win against their tough opponent. They previously lost to Illinois on August 7th.

Hamilton West Side usually has dominance over Ohio’s Little League, winning 14 championships in the past, but this year, the New Albany Little League’s determination endured, and they’ve been crowned the title in Ohio.

There will be 20 teams competing for the Little League World Series title – 10 from the United States and 10 international teams. We have our fingers crossed that New Albany Little League is there representing the Columbus area!

The Little League World Series 2023 will be broadcasted on ESPN, ESPN2, and ABC from August 16th – 27th. You can keep track of the teams and brackets here.
