Columbus bartenders create cocktail inspired by historic church in new episode of ‘Sip & Stay’

“Whiskey” Pete Wagner returns, alongside Double Eagle bartender Jackson Ludin, in episode three of “Sip & Stay,” our new video series where local bartenders create drinks inspired by unique locations around Columbus.

The latest installation of the series takes place inside of The Normandy Columbus’ Community Center, which once stood as the historic Welsh Presbyterian Church.

Complete with tall, vaulted ceilings, a historic facade and an installation featuring massive wooden pipes from a previous pipe organ, the Discovery District space is rife with local lore.

Inspired by the history of The Normandy’s Community Center, Brown-Forman brand ambassador “Whiskey” Pete and Ludin create a new cocktail, the Columbus Revival, made with Jack Daniels Bonded, lemon juice, ginger liqueur, honey syrup and sparkling water.
