After more than a decade, this unique Downtown restaurant will close its doors for good

It’s time to say farewell to the El Camino Inn.

After opening for the first time in 2012–and remaining closed for a three-year stint following the COVID-19 pandemic–the 70s-inspired Downtown eatery will close its doors for good this weekend.

“After years of serving up delicious memories, laughter, and margaritas, El Camino Inn will be closing its doors for the final time this Saturday,” a social media post made by eatery Monday afternoon reads. “While this chapter is ending due to lease negotiations, our hearts are full of gratitude for the incredible community we’ve been lucky to call our friends and family.”

El Camino, known for its vintage style and Mexican-American cuisine, is located at 238 4th St.

The restaurant will be holding an everything must go sale, where Wasteland Vintage Co. items are 30 percent off, and even “not for sale” items are, in fact, for sale.
