Where to find the coolest vintage game-day clothes

Sav McKee

If your game-day sweatshirt looks like it came straight from your dad’s closet, that’s perfect. Pair it with some faded vintage Levi’s and 1990’s sneakers, and voilà – the perfect outfit for Block or watching The Game with friends.

But where do you find the best of the best, one of a kind, vintage gear though? Those OSU sweatshirts from the 1980’s? The faded t-shirts with an old Brutus? Not surprisingly, Columbus has some incredible vintage dealers that specialize in up-cycled OSU wear.

We got you covered.

Shop Dabl
Dimi, the owner of Dabl, is an OSU alumni and knows a thing or two about game-day style. She’s curated a special collection just for Buckeyes, and she even hand-makes some gear, like these cute tiny tank tops. Visit her online shop or in person at ZenGenius, located at 30 E. 4th Ave., or check out her Instagram to see where she’s popping up on campus next.

Street2Vintage
This vintage shop, located at 796 Parsons Ave., is chalked full of goodies. Shayla, the owner, specializes in 90’s and y2k vintage clothes, and she has an entire college wear collection to make you the coolest person on game day. Check out her Instagram for a sneak peek of her collection!

The Loop Vintage
They specialize in men’s vintage wear, but their t-shirts, sweatshirts, and even hats are definitely unisex. They find the absolute best vintage sportswear, and it’s worth visiting their shop at 1559 North 4th Street. Check out their Instagram and website for the freshest finds, too.

While some of their offerings are new, CU also offers a good selection of vintage and upcycled OSU clothing. It’s right on campus too, located at 1652 N. High St.
