Chicken & Beer Festival Coming to Columbus this weekend

Jack McLaughlin

What’s better than fried chicken and beer? How about an entire festival dedicated to the two.

On June 3, the 5th annual Columbus Chicken & Beer Festival will be held at Dodge Park, which is located at 667 Sullivant Ave. It will take place from 12-8 p.m.

The family-friendly event will feature some of the city’s best chicken-focused food trucks, craft beer and even live music. As of yesterday, the food trucks attending this year’s festival will include:

Chef Shack

Fat Boy Q

Fancy Feeding You

Good & Tasty BBQ

The JuiceBox

Roc to Go

The festival hasn’t yet released its lineup of beer vendors, although it did name a pair of Columbus Brewing Co. offerings, Summerteeth German Lager and its flagship IPA, as featured beers.

You can find the live music lineup here. Lawn games like Giant Pong and Cornhole will also be offered, alongside the Local Merchant Mall, featuring more than 50 artisans and makers.
