This rustic wedding venue comes complete with a refurbished barn and a Shetland pony named Cupcake
Even at 13 years old, Cupcake the Shetland pony doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
According to Melissa Channell, co-owner of Urbana’s Vintage Venue, the now-teenaged pony is still a regular feature in the space’s events.
“He’s kind of like our little mascot, and he’s in all the photos taken here,” Channell said with a laugh

And while Cupcake is one heck of a selling point, there’s much more the Vintage Venue offers as well. Its event space, a 150 year-old barn that took the better part of 7 years to remodel, can house anything from wedding receptions to bridal showers and more.
With more space for ceremonies on the sweeping farm property, Vintage Venue also offers multiple buildings (including the Main House and Cottage) that can serve as separate day-of hubs for members of the wedding party.
You can learn more about the space and event pricing here. Vintage Venue can hold up to 175 guests.
