A new seafood restaurant just opened in Columbus after two years of anticipation

Sav McKee

Seafood boils have become wildly popular lately, especially in the last couple of years in Columbus. Now, there’s a new one on Morse Road at Easton.

Seafood Shake, located at 3860 Morse Rd., has a concept that sounds exactly like their name: your boiled crab, lobster, clams, mussels, and shrimp, corn, and potatoes come in a bag mixed with spices of your own heat preference, and you shake it up right there on the spot before devouring it. It’s messy, sure, but it’s all about the experience.

And if a bag of seafood doesn’t really sound like something you necessarily want to experience, you can order regular plates and bowls of fried shrimp and other seafood combos.

This is Seafood Shake’s third location, with one in Strongsville and another in Cleveland Heights. Their Columbus restaurant was announced two years ago, so their opening has been highly anticipated for seafood boil lovers.

Seafood Shake is open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30am-9:30am, and 11:30-10:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
