The eatery is self-described as “pioneers of the revolving sushi concept.” While diners can order directly from a menu as well, the concept is centered around a constantly-moving conveyor belt that holds a variety of dishes. When diners see something they like, they’re able to simply grab it off the line.
Kura also offers an Express Belt, which allows patrons to order items directly from of a menu.
The revolving sushi bar chain, which first opened in Japan in 1977 before coming to the US in 2008, operates more than 500 locations between Japan, Taiwan and the United States.
