A Worthington-area Indian restaurant closed its doors over a year ago, but now it’s planning to reopen.

According to owner Jay Singh, the popular Indian spot Aangan India Bistro plans to reopen its doors in “the coming few weeks,” although an exact date wasn’t shared.

Previously located at 7520 High Cross St., Aangan will be moving to 5855 Franz Rd. in Dublin. The new address is also displayed on the restaurant’s website.

Aangan closed the doors of its previous location in October of 2022, and the eatery noted at the time its long-term plans were to eventually reopen in a new storefront.

The eatery was originally opened by Jay Singh’s father, Lakhvir Singh, in 2019. The elder Singh, who also served as executive chef, operated the Indian eatery after operating the Indian restaurant Amul for more than 15 years.
