After closure due to car crash, Short North’s Galla Park shares reopening date
In early November, Galla Park Steakhouse in the Short North temporarily closed its doors after a vehicle veered off nearby High Street and ended up in the center of the restaurant’s dining room.
And just over five months after the incident occurred, the popular spot plans to reopen.
According to partner at Peerless Management Group, the restaurant group behind Galla Park and other Columbus concepts like Fireproof Restaurant and Parlay Sporting Club + Kitchen, the restaurant will reopen on May 5.

Mynes said Galla Park will reopen next month with an entirely remodeled interior and a brand-new menu. A sneak peak of both will be shared by 614Now next week.
Shortly after the crash occurred, Galla Park posted asocial media statement that said it planned to take time off to “develop a course of action to rebuild, and to find smooth employment transfer for staffing,” a;though at the time, the statement didn’t mention how long the eateyr would remain closed for.
