After more than a decade, this north side Columbus pizzeria will close

Borgata Pizza Cafe is going from three central Ohio eateries to two,

Yesterday, the pizzeria posted a statement to its social media pages notifying customers that its location at 5701 Parkville St. will close on April 1.

According to the statement from the long-standing Columbus pizzeria, road construction that’s slated to begin soon on Parkville Street was a factor in the decision. This location opened in 2010.

Fans of Borgata Pizza Cafe will still be able to enjoy the concept’s New York-style pies at multiple locations. Borgata will continue to operate its Worthington eatery and its space inside Budd Dairy Food Hall.

“We want to thank everyone for supporting our Parkville street location and look forward to continue serving you at our Worthington and Budd Dairy Foodhall locations,” the pizzeria’s statement reads.
