After opening earlier this year, restaurant serving chicken in waffle cones appears to have closed

Earlier this year, Chick’nCone, a national chain serving fried chicken pieces in a waffle cone, opened the doors of its first central Ohio location in Westerville.

And now, it appears the concept’s Westerville storefront has closed.

The eatery’s storefront, which was located at 422 Polaris Pkwy, has a real estate sign in the window, marketing the space as “available,” and a sign on the door with instructions for how to contact property managers.

Several Chick’nCone signs remain on the property, but the concept’s phone line no longer works either.

Chick’nCone Westerville’s last social media update mentioned a temporary closure in the middle of September, and many commented on the post afterwards, asking if the chain is still open.

The eatery could not be reached for comment before this story was published, and it’s currently unclear if Chick’NCone’s Westerville plans to relocate to another space, or if the closure is temporary.

The brand operates restaurants in more than 10 states, with two other Ohio eateries located in the Cincinnati area.
