Pickup pizza kitchen attempting to open permanent location on South Side

Alberta’s Pizza Kitchen hopes to set permanent roots on the South End of Columbus.

The pizzeria opened as a carryout and delivery spot that shared kitchen space with Hey Hey Bar and Grill, and also has operated temporary locations inside Halftime Tavern and more recently in The Pointe Tavern, which is located at 1991 Riverside Dr.

In a statement posted to its Instgram account, Alberta’s announced that it will attempt to find a permanent South Side home.

“Hello dear friends and supporters, it’s been awhile, and we miss you more than you know. Alberta’s has been, and is currently, looking for a permanent spot in the South End of Columbus to service your pizza needs,” the statement reads.

Alberta’s is aiming to open sometime in 2024. In the meantime, the eatery is planning a pop-up in late October, although an exact date hasn’t been announced.
