Beloved Central Ohio restaurant and bakery rolls out new donut truck

Der Dutchman is on a roll. Literally.

The popular Amish restaurant and bakery—known for its comfort food and indulgent baked goods—is expanding its concept in a way we can definitely get behind: it’s launching a donut truck.

Known as The Rolling Dutchman, the truck will travel to different locations, serving the Ohio-based restaurant’s donuts, Cream Sticks (Der Dutchman’s name for Long Johns) and coffee.

The Rolling Dutchman’s first stop was on Sept. 22 in Millersburg. It’s not currently revealed how far throughout the state the new donut truck plans to travel, but you can keep up with the Rolling Dutchman’s schedule on its social media pages.

The Amish restaurant chain operates a Plain City location, in addition to restaurants in Belleville, Sugar Creek and Walnut Creek, plus a pair of eateries in Indiana and one in Florida.
