Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ new German Village eatery announces opening date

According to a post made to the social media accounts of Cento, the new upscale Italian spot from Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, the eatery will officially open its doors on Aug. 22.

“Experience the magical combination of Italian hospitality and artisanal cocktails at Cento. Let our skilled bartenders transport you to the heart of Italy, where the art of mixology is appreciated as much as the cuisine. We look forward to welcoming you as our guest on August 22,” the restaurant’s statement reads.

Cento is located at 595 S. 3rd St. in German Village, in the former home of G. Michael’s Bistro & Bar, which shuttered in the fall of 2021.

The concept’s name, which means 100 in Italian, is a reference to the new spot serving as Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ 100th concept.

You can take a peek at a the restaurant’s menus here. Cento will feature upscale Italian dishes including a variety of classic pastas, swordfish, steak, vela parmesan and more.
