Ohio University’s Lancaster campus will soon see a local barbeque eatery take over a former campus cafe.

Bobcat Bistro and Convenience Corner, which was located on the bottom level of Brasee Hall on the OU-Lancaster campus, will soon be taken over by Bob’s Backyard Barbeque, a Lancaster-based restaurant.

Bob’s currently operates its sole location at 157 W. Main St. in Lancaster.

According to a social media statement from the barbeque restaurant, the new location will be named Bob’s Bobcat Bistro. According to the statement, it will offer “a selection of items and specialty coffees available for students and staff.”

Bobcat Bistro formerly offered coffee drinks in addition to breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches for lunch and even pizza by the slice.

It’s unclear when Bob’s wil over the space, but the concept is listed as  “coming soon.” Bob’s Bobcast Bistro will be open from 7 a.m.-2 p.m, Monday through Thursday.
