A Marysville restaurant has closed its doors for good.

According to a social media post from late last month, The Other Place Bar & Grill (more commonly referred to as The OP Bar & Grill), has shuttered.

“We are closing,” the post reads. “We would like to thank all of our employees for their dedication and hard work. We would also like to thank the many patrons for supporting us. Never know what the future holds! Thank you for all of us at the OP Bar & Grill.”

The eatery’s last day in operation was Sept. 24.

The OP Bar & Grill was located at 900 Columbus Ave., just east of Downtown Marysville. The restaurant specialized in uts calzones and strombolis, but was also known for its pizza and served as a live music venue.
