California restaurant opening first central Ohio location, with rooftop patio

An “international dining experience” from San Francisco has opened its doors in Hilliard.

The first central Ohio location of Dahab Restaurant & Cafe, which was originally located in San Francisco, launched its soft opening phase on Nov. 9, and it plans to hold its official grand opening on Nov. 22.

It’s located at 3708 Fishinger Blvd. in Hilliard.

According to a Facebook post, the Mediterranean and Halal-focused restaurant can seat up to 400, and is planning to open a rooftop patio soon.

Diners can opt for traditional Mediterranean cuisine with options like falafel, tabouli and lamb skewers. The concept also offers a series of hearty sandwiches, like a traditional falafel sandwich, chicken or beef shawarma wraps and even a Gyro sandwich served on naan bread.

All of the cuisine at Dahab is halal.
