CRMD, the on-the-pulse ice cream concept that began in Columbus several years ago, is ready to expand from the Short North to the City’s northern suburbs.

According to a statement posted to its social media accounts, CRMD will open a brand-new Lewis Center location on March 17. The new storefront is located at 5915 Evans Farm Dr., STE G, in the new Evans Farm development.

CRMD is known for creating indulgent flavors like Cereal and Milk, and leaning into food trends like the puffle. Also known as an egg waffle, the ruffle is a popular treat in Hong Kong that uses an egg batter to create a rich waffle made up of a collection spheres (as opposed to square indentations like most waffles). At CRMD, puffles are typically served wrapped around a scoop or two of your favorite ice cream.

The new storefront will be CRMD’s third. The concept opened its first location in the Short North in 2019, and later expanded to Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood.
