Columbus Brewing Co. announces soft opening date of highly-anticipated east side taproom and restaurant

Jack McLaughlin

Good things, and great craft beer, come to those who wait.

Since Columbus Brewing Co.’s highly-anticipated near east side restaurant and taproom were announced in 2021, we’ve been anticipating its opening date. And now we have one. The brewery’s new location will hold a soft opening on Feb. 18.

The restaurant and taproom will not be open to the public on this date, as the soft opening is a ticketed dinner event. Tickets for the Feb. 18 opening were made available earlier today, but have already sold out. According to Vice President of Marketing at Columbus Brewing Evan Magliocca, a public grand opening date will be announced soon.

Columbus Brewing is a cornerstone of the city’s craft beer scene, and one of its oldest craft breweries, having served Columbus for more than 30 years. Its current Harrison Road taproom also offers a consistently-lauded food menu, but its location west of Grandview makes it a difficult trek for some.

With its new east side space, which will be located at 200 Kelton Ave. in the Trolley District Development, makes Columbus Brewing becomes easily available to both sides of the City.

In addition to 24 draft lines, the new eatery and taproom will also feature a globally-inspired food menu, plus multiple dining and bar areas.
