Columbus concept serving waffle pops coming to Dublin market

If you’re a fan of the ice cream nachos trend, we have a sweet new option for you: waffle pops.

If you’ve never heard of them before, you’re not alone, but one Columbus brand is embracing them, meaning you’ll be able to try one for yourself soon.

“This year we decided to look for something that children and adults would love to cover all the demand of the attendees, what better idea than a waffle,” said Ana Di Prisco, who owns the concept wither her husband, Jorge Monterroza. “Then we thought that maybe a full waffle was too much for the kids and we decided to get the pops out.”

Patrons will be able to customize their waffle pops with a variety of mix-ins and syrups, including everything from sugary cereal to rose petals, fruit and nuts. According to, everything is mixed and made in front of customers as well.

Tables4US will be selling waffle pops at the Dublin Market, which will be held every Saturday from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. through September.
