Columbus eatery offering Thanksgiving-themed hot dog with stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy and more

It’s the most wonderful time of the year.

No, we aren’t talking about Christmas. Or even Thanksgiving for that matter. It’s the season of Franksgiving, the name given to Dirty Frank’s Hot Dog Palace’s annual Thanksgiving-themed hot dog.

“We don’t know what it is about the Franksgiving Dog, but we (and Columbus) get really excited about it! We love kicking off the holiday season with something special like this each year,” Dirty Frank’s owner Miriam Ailabouni told 614Now.

The annual speciality hot dog contains stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy and scallions, and is served alongside a side of cranberry sauce. A vegan version of the Franksgiving Dog can also be purchased.

Additionally, Dirtg Frank’s is serving a seasonal cocktail, the Caramel Apple Martini, alongside the speciality hot dog. The drink features apple cider, vodka, butterscotch schnapps and caramel.

The Franksgiving Dog will be available until Nov. 28, and the Caramel Apple Martini will be served until Nov. 14.
