Columbus food scene veteran opens delivery service for warm cookies, cold milk

Cody Miller, the owner of longtime Columbus craft popsicle brand Rime Time Curiously Crafted Pops, is coming in hot with a new delivery service.

Literally.

The Columbus food scene veteran recently launched a brand-new dessert concept, Warmly Cookies, which offers home delivery of artisanal cookies across a rotating handful of Columbus zip codes.

The concept, which opened for business earlier this year, takes a unique approach to its deliveries, which happens once per week.

Here’s how the Warmly system operates: If you’re interested, sign up here by sharing your name, zip code and phone number. Miller selects one or several Columbus zip codes each Friday, and texts are sent out to those who have signed up and are living in that day’s zip code. If you want in on a given day, respond to the text, and you’ll receive a “secret link” to order from. Your cookies will be delivered later that evening.

And they’ll still be warm when they get to you.

The concept has a streamlined menu to keep things simple. Instead of wild flavors and out-there adjuncts, Warmly offers only four-packs of their Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookies in addition to pints of Snowville Creamery Whole Milk, although Miller did say more flavors are a possibility in the future.

“Just milk and cookies,” he said. “We’ve meticulously developed our chocolate chip cookie recipe to be a perfect version of that indulgent and comforting warm cookie we’ve always wanted when we’re winding down the evening. Warm and gooey and soft on the inside but crisp edges and large salt flakes on top. Maybe more varieties and treats will come in the future, but we are focused on our chocolate chip cookie to start.”
