Columbus food truck, fusion pizza concept, needs your help to stay afloat

A Columbus concept serving Indian fusion cuisine could use some support from the Columbus community.

Two Fat Indians, the eatery that began as a food truck and now boasts a location in Franklinton’s Cypress Kitchen, recently posted to its Instagram account that, without monetary help from Columbus, the concept “might have to shut down.”

Two Fat Indians has created a GoFundMe page in order to raise money needed to keep the eatery afloat.

Owner Amit Kumar told614 Now that the eatery’s “string of bad luck” includes multiple incidents. Two Fat Indians’ food truck was recently totalled in an incident, and the concept’s generator was also stolen.

“I’ve been in business from last six years and came up with the idea of Indian American fusion pizzas and burritos. I need help to support my business in this tough time and I request my community to please support. or I have to shut my business down,” Kumar’s GoFundMe page reads.

The eatery has currently raised more than $5,000 of its $10,000 goal.
