Columbus food truck veterans opening new truck featuring sundae bar, ice cream floats tomorrow

The minds behind a local fried chicken concept are bringing something sweet to Columbus.

Lady Sprinkleton the Third, which will serve ice cream, sundaes, floats and more, will officially open tomorrow. The new truck will host an opening day event at 1400 Food Lab, which is located at 1400 Dublin Rd, from 1-4 p.m.

Owners Drew and Shelby Long, who started The Tasty Good Food Truck, which is focused on chicken fingers, mac and cheese and fries, opened the truck as an outlet to reach into other types of cuisines.

“I just wanted something I could be a little more creative with, something different than the chicken fingers we do everyday,” Shelby Long said in an interview last year.

Lady Sprinkleton will offer a sundae bar, floats, and potentially artisan popsicles. It also serves its own custom flavor that was created by Johnson’s Ice Cream and will feature sprinkle and a “light cake batter flavor.”
